About

History of Tisdale Riverside Golf Club

The Tisdale Riverside Golf Course first opened in 1923, nestled into the banks of the Doghide River. The course started as sand greens but was later upgraded to grass greens with extended tee boxes over the river, creating a challenging 9-hole course. Tisdale Riverside Golf Course is home to one of Saskatchewan’s longest-running men’s tournaments, The Falkner Open. Since 1936, the first Sunday of July at our course consists of 72 men playing a 27-hole day. Celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2023, the Tisdale Riverside Golf Course is a fun and welcoming environment for golfers of all ages and experiences.
